1. Purpose

This policy sets out how Mercato Brokers identifies, prevents, manages and, where necessary, discloses conflicts of interest that may arise in the course of providing services to clients.

2. Potential Conflicts

Conflicts may arise between the firm and a client, between two or more clients, between employees or connected persons and clients, or between the firm and its liquidity providers, banking partners or introducing brokers.

3. Identification

The firm maintains an inventory of actual and potential conflicts, updated on the introduction of any new product, service, business line, partner or remuneration arrangement.

4. Controls

We apply segregation of duties, information barriers between trading and non-trading functions, personal-account-dealing rules for staff, gifts and inducements limits, remuneration policies aligned with client outcomes, and independent oversight by the Compliance function.

5. Disclosure

Where a conflict cannot reasonably be prevented or managed to protect the client's interests, we will disclose the nature and source of the conflict in sufficient detail before proceeding with the relevant service.

6. Record-Keeping

A conflicts register is maintained by Compliance and reviewed by senior management on a regular basis. The policy is reviewed at least annually and on any material change.
